Since I began speaking regularly at Town Council meetings in 2021, I have faced what appears to be a consistent pattern of viewpoint discrimination and retaliation by the Town of Los Gatos and its officials for exercising my protected speech. A pivotal incident occurred on October 5, 2021, when Jeff Scott — the husband of then-Mayor Marico Sayoc — threatened to kill me and Cyndi Sheehan at a Town Council meeting. Sayoc had led many of the policies I opposed. Police protected Scott rather than us. I later attempted to serve Jeff Scott three times at his home with Sheehan’s temporary restraining order paperwork. Each time, Los Gatos Police Department officers stopped me. I have video of these incidents. I ultimately had to serve him at his office with the City of San Jose. Video also exists of Scott raging in the lobby that night. The Town later used this event to justify and push for SB 1100, claiming our speech caused “havoc,” in order to give officials greater power to shut down speech like ours at public meetings.In direct response to my speech criticizing Flock cameras, communism, LGBTQ policies, and the Recreation Department’s Drag Queen events in the Children’s Library — including my frequent references to Jesus and the Word of God — I have faced the following: 1. Removal from Democracy Tent after Rob Moore (now Mayor) emailed Lee Fagot directing him to remove me. The email falsely claimed I had “threatened to kill someone at a town council meeting.” I have a copy of this email. Lisanne Kennedy of the Recreation Department stated on audio that Democracy Tent was removed because the viewpoints expressed “did not align with” theirs. 2. Bernasconi and Somers (Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce) deleted my recorded interview shortly after it was completed to suppress my speech and story. When I requested the recording in discovery, Bernasconi produced an altered version with a second intro and music inserted to cover the gap containing the same defamatory statements and the subsequent discussion about Jeff Scott. I have an ongoing case (Hogan v. Bernasconi) involving breach of contract, conversion, defamation, and violations of the Unruh, Tom Bane, and Ralph Civil Rights Acts, as well as IIED. Both Bernasconi and Zamora referred to me as a “White Christian Nationalist.” 3. Minimal or no action by Los Gatos Police Department on incidents tied to my speech. In the Hogan v. Erica Patereau Zamora matter, Zamora committed what I believe was a hate crime involving trespassing and conversion. The police came out twice to my home to remove Zamora from my property. Ultimately, the LGPD did not press charges even though she admitted the details on her Facebook page and stated that I would not respond because I was Christian. I obtained a Civil Harassment Restraining Order with a two-year extension and a $225,000 judgment entirely on my own. I have been proceeding pro se since 2023 with court fee waivers. I would greatly appreciate professional legal assistance this time. 4. The Town banned banners on my private property while allowing Pride and Trans flags to remain displayed in a storefront for nine months in violation of the 90-day rule. Many complaints were made about the flags, but no enforcement action was taken. The Town hired an attorney to shut down my banners. 5. There are more incidents and evidence.  Most recently, on or about June 23, 2026, hairstylist Christine Barbara sprayed glass cleaner on my car windows without permission to remove my messages because she disliked the content. Los Gatos Police Department officers initially refused to take a report even after watching the full video, including her admission that she did not like my speech. The officers argued with me that it was not a crime while also referencing my free speech. A report was only filed the next day (Case #26-1000) by a different officer. I have filed a formal complaint with the Town; Town Attorney Gabrielle Whelan is assigned but has not returned my call. I possess extensive video and audio evidence of nearly every incident, including the Christine Barbara event, police interactions, Moore’s email to Fagot, Lisanne Kennedy’s statements, the October 5, 2021 incident, and my attempts to serve Jeff Scott.
